The Triathlon race season begins in April 2015.
What is triathlon? Triathlon simply means ‘three sports rolled into one’. In this case, triathlon relates to a swim, followed by a bike, then a run all combined into one race. There are a variety of different distances from sprint (750m or 400m swim, 20k bike, 5k run) to the Ironman (3.6 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run). If your new to triathlon, we recommend that you go for a pool based sprint triathlon.
There are also other multisport events too such as duathlon – a run/bike/run race or aquathlon – swim/run or run/swim/run race.
All events are catered for boys and girls aged 8 to 17 years old and seniors aged 18 years to 80 years old.
